Facing board
A high- pressure laminate facing board (parklex) in large-size with a wooden veneer surface. The system is intended for use as exterior or internal façade on new buildings or reconstruction of business-, office – and multi store buildings etc.
Description of the product
The facing board have a surface made from wooden veneer and a core made of cellulose fibre and phenol resin which are compressed under high pressure and heating. The boards have high impact resistance and resist strong sun, rain, wind, snow and frost. The boards are mounted on profiles made from steel or wooden with visible or hidden fixing. Profiles and technique showing hidden fixing, added insulation and connection details are available.
Machining
To process the boards tools for hard sort of wood most be used (drilling, cutting and grinding).

Thickness: 4,6,8,10,12,14 and 18 mm
The building thickness including mounting rails and stones is approx. 25 - 55 mm

Weight: approx 1,3 g /mm³ or 13,5 kg for a 10 mm board
Appearance
The boards can be delivered in 5 different veneers, from nature to dark brown and with different surface structures.
Guidance at projecting
The boards are attached with screw or glue on vertical laths made from wood or steel so an airspace of 20-30 mm appears. Hidden fixing technique is available for boards with min. 12 mm thickness. For added insulation a special distance beam and console made from steel are available.
